The Cottage Inn is a magical place.
The Cottage Inn sits on 2 acres, featuring 22 unique rooms in 8 cottages. A complimentary lodge-made breakfast is offered to our guests. In addition to the rooms, there are 2 garden areas where guests can relax and enjoy the mountain magic. Most rooms accommodate 2 people. Due to this limitation, extra guests need to be disclosed at the time of booking (call us) and must be booked into a room designed to accommodate 3. All guests must be 12 years and older.
Beach access is available to our guests.
The Cottage Inn lies just a few steps from one of the finest private beaches on Lake Tahoe. Our guests are welcome to access with a “card-key” that can be obtained at the front desk. Here you may enjoy sunning on the docks, swimming in the clear water, or picnicking under the trees. During winter months, enjoy a peaceful stroll along the snowy path to take in the beautiful views along the shoreline. It’s also an excellent place for guests to watch the sun come up - or the moon rise!
NOTE: Beach towels can be purchased and a limited number of beach chairs are available for daily rental at our front desk.
Complimentary Breakfast
Included in your room charge is a home-made breakfast from our kitchen. This is currently brought to your room or schedule a pick-up at our front desk to-go. Please advise us of any food allergies upon making reservations.
Parking
Whether you are staying with us during the summer or winter, there is ample parking reserved for all of our guests on the property year-round.
Dining
There are many fine restaurants to choose from in Lake Tahoe. Menus of local restaurants are available in the lodge. Let us help you with advance dinner reservations, which are advisable any time of year.
Children
The Cottage Inn is not able to accommodate children under 12 years of age.
late check-in procedures
Please advise us if you plan to check-in after 7:00 p.m., so we can provide instructions.
Smoking
Out of concern for the safety & health of all of our guests and fire prevention, smoking is NOT allowed in rooms or on property. This policy includes vaping.
